About DPN
Doctors’ Professional Network Inc. (DPN), established on June 30, 2023, is a non-profit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and recognized as a 501(c)(3) entity in the United States.
DPN unites holders of terminal degrees (doctorates) from various fields, spanning the sciences, social sciences, humanities, professional disciplines, and the arts. Currently, the network boasts over 100 members across several chapters, encompassing diverse disciplinary backgrounds.
Our members span professional trajectories including academia, research, policy, industry, clinical practice, and the nonprofit sector — bound together by a shared commitment to excellence and human advancement.

Our Founding Story
DPN was born from a simple but powerful idea — that doctoral professionals, often scattered across disciplines and institutions, deserve a unified space to collaborate, grow, and lead.
Why DPN Exists
Doctoral professionals represent some of the most highly trained minds in the world. Yet, they frequently operate in silos — separated by institution, discipline, geography, or sector — limiting the collective impact they could achieve together.
DPN was founded to break down these silos and create a vibrant, cross-disciplinary community where doctoral professionals can network, collaborate on research, mentor one another, and amplify their collective voice for positive societal change.
Rooted in Cameroon, Global in Vision
Founded by Cameroonian doctoral professionals in Worcester, Massachusetts, DPN has a special commitment to connecting the Cameroonian academic diaspora with opportunities for growth, leadership, and impact — both within Cameroon and on the global stage.

Monthly Academic Series
Every third Sunday, 4:00–5:00 PM ET, members and guests present original research, professional insights, and cross-disciplinary perspectives. Open to all members across chapters.
International Conference
Our inaugural First International Conference on Doctoral Leadership — in partnership with Harvard University — takes place October 17–18, 2026 in Boston, MA.
Mentorship Program
